PROJECT UNKNOWN — TERMS OF USE

Welcome to Project Unknown (projectunknowngh.com), operated out of Accra, Ghana ("Project Unknown," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, our Shopify store, and any purchase you make from us. By browsing our site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

 

1. Who We Are

Project Unknown is a limited-drop streetwear brand designing and selling apparel under the PROJECT UNKNOWN™ brand and its sub-lines and collections (including but not limited to the Kradin Collection, MISLABELLED™, and other drops we release from time to time). All references to "products" in these Terms mean items sold through projectunknowngh.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. If you're under that age, you may browse the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Products, Drops & Availability

  • Project Unknown operates on a limited-drop model. Products are released in scheduled drops and may sell out, be discontinued, or not be restocked.

  • Some items are made print-to-order: your order is produced after you place it, within our stated delivery windows. Delivery days, cutoff times, and production timelines are shown at checkout and/or on our site and may change between drops — always refer to the current information shown at the time you order.

  • We make reasonable efforts to display accurate colours, sizing, and product details, but slight variation between what's shown on screen and the physical product (colour, print placement, fabric) may occur, particularly with hand-finished or small-batch techniques.

  • We reserve the right to limit quantities per order or per customer, particularly during high-demand drops.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout (GHS for Ghana, with USD/GBP pricing available for international diaspora orders where applicable) and are subject to change without notice.

  • Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment providers (Paystack for Ghana-based transactions; Flutterwave for international transactions). We do not store your full card or payment details — that information is handled directly by our payment processors under their own terms and privacy policies.

  • You confirm that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you're authorized to use the payment method provided.

  • Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

5. Shipping & Fulfillment

  • Ghana orders are fulfilled and delivered locally.

  • International (diaspora) orders are fulfilled via our print/fulfillment partner and shipped internationally.

  • Delivery windows, cutoff times, and shipping fees are communicated at checkout and may vary by drop, location, and order volume. We'll do our best to meet stated timelines, but delays can occur due to production volume, courier/postal delays, customs processing, or circumstances outside our control.

  • Risk of loss and title to products pass to you once the order has been handed to the delivery carrier or courier.

  • Customs, duties & import taxes for international orders are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Order Issues

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our designs, branding, or content without our prior written permission. Purchasing a product gives you ownership of that physical item only — it does not grant you any rights to reproduce the design, artwork, or branding on it.

9. Affiliate & Promotional Programs

If you participate in any Project Unknown affiliate or referral program, your participation is also governed by that program's specific terms (including commission rates and payout conditions), which take precedence over these Terms for matters they specifically address.

10. User Conduct

When using our site, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;

  • Attempt to interfere with, hack, or disrupt the site, our systems, or our payment processing;

  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the site without our permission;

  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with us;

  • Submit false or fraudulent orders or payment information.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or suspend accounts at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

Our site relies on third-party services (including Shopify as our e-commerce platform, Paystack and Flutterwave for payments, and our fulfillment partners) to operate. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or issues caused by these third-party services, though we'll do our best to help resolve any resulting order issues.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • The site and products are provided "as is." While we take care in production and quality control, we don't guarantee the site will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly secure.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Project Unknown is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products, beyond the amount you paid for the relevant order.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Ghanaian consumer protection law.
